The love child of founder Dan Nikkel and his trusty Mac, Nikkelkrome was born in 2001 – the result of an individual design endeavor that transformed this recent college grad into an unstoppable creative force. In the nine years that have followed, like the opening of Pandora's box, a whole new world of opportunity has unfolded in the web-iverse as word of mouth has led to increased demand for Dan's distinctive brand of completely custom, highly functional web sites.
Based in Hermosa Beach, California and proudly serving clients in industries ranging from high fashion to action sports, Nikkelkrome prides itself on providing each of its clients with a superior product, a completely personalized experience, and a totally unique web presence. So what's with the name? While working as an intern in Grenoble, France, Dan encountered some rather strange looks when asked to introduce himself. It would seem that Nikkel (rather, nickel) is slang for "perfect," "cool," "impeccable." And nickel chrome, as it happens, means "work accomplished to perfection."
